We are pleased to report that Hopeson Adorye has been granted bail by the Dansoman Circuit Court in the sum of GHc20,000. This decision comes after Mr. Adorye pleaded not guilty to the charge of publication of false news.

As part of the bail conditions, the court has required Mr. Adorye to produce two sureties, one of whom must be justified. This is a common practice to ensure that the individual complies with the terms of their release.

Mr. Adorye's arrest on Wednesday, May 22 stemmed from allegations that he had confessed to detonating some dynamite in the run-up to the 2016 elections. It is important to note that these are still allegations at this stage and Mr. Adorye is entitled to the presumption of innocence until proven guilty.

We will continue to monitor this case as it develops and provide updates as necessary. It is important to allow the legal process to run its course and refrain from making any assumptions about Mr. Adorye's guilt or innocence.

We trust that the judicial system will handle this matter with fairness and impartiality, and we extend our best wishes to Mr. Adorye and all parties involved in this case.
