We have received reports of a recent incident involving the remand of three individuals, including the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communication Officer for Awutu Senya West, Cassius Oto Larbi, by the Awutu Bereku District Court. The other two individuals are Robert Arthur and Bright.

Allegations have been made against the trio for their involvement in the destruction of posters belonging to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Bawumia, and the Parliamentary candidate, Eugene Arhin, on DRIP machines.

The presiding judge, Her Ladyship Naomi Kuntor, has ordered the accused individuals to re-appear in court on Monday, 16th September, 2024.

In response to this development, it has been reported that irate NDC supporters, as well as the incumbent Member of Parliament and Parliamentary candidate, Gizella Agbotui Tetteh, have gathered at the police station where the accused individuals are being held.

We will continue to monitor this situation and provide updates as it unfolds.
