The deceased, identified as 36-year-old Emmanuel Somiah, reportedly visited the residence of his girlfriend, Cynthia Nyarko, around 5 p.m. to retrieve personal belongings. According to eyewitness accounts, Emmanuel unexpectedly encountered another man at the house, known only by the name Jeff, who was also visiting Cynthia. This unexpected meeting is said to have ignited a heated argument between the two men, which tragically escalated into a physical altercation.
Eyewitnesses described hearing shouting and the sounds of a scuffle emanating from the house. However, the commotion abruptly ceased. Upon entering the premises, one witness discovered Emmanuel lying motionless on the ground. “We heard shouting and sounds of a scuffle from the house, but it went quiet shortly after. When I entered, I saw Emmanuel lying motionless. Cynthia claimed she didn’t know what had happened,” the witness recounted.
Emmanuel was rushed to a nearby health facility using a tricycle in an attempt to save his life. Unfortunately, medical personnel pronounced him dead upon arrival.
