In a recent statement, the Regent (Chief) of Ashaiman, Nii Annang Adzor, issued a cautionary directive to non-residents and miscreants who have been using Ashaiman as a hub for criminal activities. The Chief's remarks were prompted by growing concerns over the involvement of individuals from neighboring towns in criminal incidents within Ashaiman.

During an appearance on Plan B FM’s late afternoon show ‘EBAANOSEN’ hosted by Ohene Kinnah, the Chief highlighted that a significant portion of the criminal activities in Ashaiman are being perpetrated by individuals hailing from Ada, Nima, Kasoa, Ningo, and other surrounding areas. He emphasized that investigations into recent criminal incidents, including the case of the slain soldier, revealed that the majority of those involved were not residents of Ashaiman.

Expressing dismay at the exploitation of Ashaiman as a base for criminal operations, the Chief underscored the need to address this issue and prevent non-residents from using the town to carry out illicit activities. He emphasized that the peaceful residents of Ashaiman do not condone criminal behavior and are committed to thwarting the efforts of individuals from other areas who seek to exploit the town for their unlawful pursuits.

Looking ahead, the Chief affirmed the community's determination to take action against criminals from neighboring towns who utilize Ashaiman as a staging ground for their illicit endeavors. He stressed that holding such individuals accountable would serve as a deterrent to others with similar intentions.

Furthermore, the Chief called upon the Ashaiman Police Command to enhance their proactive measures in combating crime and safeguarding the reputation of the town. By working collaboratively with law enforcement, the community aims to reinforce its stance against criminal activities and uphold the values of peace and security within Ashaiman.

In conclusion, the Chief's message serves as a resolute declaration of Ashaiman's commitment to combatting criminal exploitation by non-residents and preserving the town's reputation. With a united front and proactive measures, Ashaiman endeavors to deter criminal elements and ensure a safe environment for its law-abiding residents.
