Despite having separated five months prior, the couple shared a one-and-a-half-year-old child.
The refusal to accommodate her ex-boyfriend resulted in a gruesome assault, with the assailant stabbing Comfort seven times in her thighs and belly. Fortunately, neighbors intervened, finding her in a pool of blood, and promptly rushed her to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for urgent medical attention. Thanks to the efforts of the medical team, Comfort's life was saved, and she has since been discharged.
In a desperate attempt to evade justice, the assailant tried to take his own life by slitting his belly and is currently receiving treatment at the emergency center of the same hospital.
