The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 am on Sunday, April 21, 2024, when Afrifa Fostet reportedly attempted to intervene in an altercation involving a young man and an unidentified group of assailants.
According to eyewitness accounts, Afrifa Fostet had arrived at the F2 hotel to pick up customers for a scheduled program. Upon his arrival, he encountered a young man being assaulted by a group of individuals. In a selfless act of bravery, he sought to rescue the victim, only to be tragically stabbed in the chest by one of the assailants.
Tragically, Afrifa Fostet succumbed to his injuries upon arrival at Saint Patrick Hospital. The loss of such a dedicated and courageous member of the community has undoubtedly left a profound impact on all who knew him.
In response to this senseless act of violence, the Boaman district police command has taken swift action by apprehending a suspect believed to be connected to the assailants. The individual is currently assisting law enforcement with their ongoing investigation into this devastating incident.
