Three friends remanded in Enchi for robbery, rape

In a recent court case at the Enchi District Magistrate Court, three individuals have been remanded into police custody on charges of conspiracy, robbery, and rape. The accused individuals, identified as Alex Obeng (also known as Power Money), Ransford Osei Coffie (alias King/Anointing), and Johnson Adu (alias Black Nana), are currently held for their alleged involvement in a disturbing crime.



According to Detective Police Chief Inspector Joseph Kwadwo Agyare, the accused individuals reportedly armed themselves with a locally manufactured pistol and a knife before entering the residence of the complainants, Stephen Amihere and his fiancée, Christiana Mensah. The incident, which took place in Desueano, saw the accused individuals subjecting the victims to physical violence and robbery.


The court heard that the accused individuals, in a premeditated act, not only robbed the victims of valuable possessions including electronic devices, cash, and personal belongings but also subjected Christiana Mensah to a harrowing ordeal of sexual assault.
