The court proceedings revealed that the alleged robbery took place on February 12, 2024, at Kwame Nkrumah Circle, where the complainant, Isaac Kofi Amano, was reportedly relieved of several electronic devices. The accused individuals have pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against them.

Furthermore, they were instructed to deposit their passports and copies of Voter’s ID or Ghana Cards at the court registry, and to report to the police on a weekly basis. The complainant was reportedly lured to a specified location under false pretenses and subsequently robbed of his electronic gadgets by individuals posing as police officers.
The prosecution further detailed that following the robbery, efforts were made to track down the perpetrators and recover the stolen items. This led to the arrest of Okoh Chuks at Kwame Nkrumah Circle on February 14, 2024, with one of the stolen Samsung Galaxy tablets in his possession. Subsequent investigations and arrests led to the apprehension of Sena, Botchway, Okyere, and others allegedly involved in the criminal activities.
It was disclosed that Sena and Botchway admitted to their involvement in robbing multiple victims alongside an individual named Quaye, who is currently evading capture. The prosecution also highlighted that the identification of Sena and Botchway by the complainant during an identification parade further solidified their connection to the robbery.
