We are deeply disturbed to report the harrowing experience of an officer of the National Investigation Bureau (NIB) and his wife, who were victims of a terrifying armed robbery in Kasoa Chrispo City, located in the Awutu Senya East Municipality.

The distressing incident occurred at approximately 2:30 am on Wednesday, when the officer and his family were fast asleep. Three armed men, brandishing guns and cutlasses, forcibly entered their home and proceeded to rob them at gunpoint.

The perpetrators callously tied up the couple, ransacked their home, and fled with a Toyota Corolla bearing registration number GX 1651-20, along with their mobile phones and two television sets. Furthermore, they callously demanded the couple's Mobile Money (MoMo) pin, exhibiting a complete disregard for their victims' well-being.

Following their ruthless actions, the robbers callously silenced their victims by taping their mouths shut before making their escape from the premises.

The officer, understandably shaken by the traumatic ordeal, expressed the profound impact it has had on his family.

This deplorable act serves as a stark reminder of the prevalence of crime in our communities and the urgent need for enhanced security measures to safeguard the lives and property of law-abiding citizens.

Our thoughts are with the officer and his family during this difficult time, and we fervently hope that the perpetrators of this heinous crime are swiftly brought to justice.

We urge anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward and assist the authorities in their investigation.

It is imperative that we stand together as a community to combat such reprehensible acts and ensure the safety and security of all individuals.
