We have received reports of a disturbing incident in Twifo Praso, Central Region, where a suspect, Nana Amo Abraham, has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service. The suspect is alleged to have caused harm to his 20-year-old daughter through physical assault following a disagreement, resulting in bodily harm.
As a result of these serious allegations, the suspect is currently in custody, cooperating with the ongoing investigation, and will be brought before the court to answer for his actions.
In the meantime, the well-being of the victim is of utmost importance. The Police have taken steps to ensure that she receives the necessary medical attention by arranging for her to be brought to the Police Hospital in Accra for further care.
It is deeply concerning to hear about such incidents within our communities. We commend the Ghana Police Service for their swift action in apprehending the suspect and ensuring the victim's well-being. We urge anyone who may have information related to this case or any similar incidents to come forward and assist the authorities in their efforts to uphold justice and protect the vulnerable.
