In a recent and rather shocking incident in Awutu Bereku, Central Region, Prophet K.B.Y. Ensonyameye, the esteemed founder of Graceland Chapel International, found himself embroiled in a distressing situation. It was alleged that the revered prophet had made inappropriate advances towards a married woman within his congregation, leading to a regrettable altercation.

According to reports, the woman had sought guidance from Prophet Ensonyameye regarding challenges within her marriage. In an unexpected turn of events, the prophet purportedly attributed the marital issues to spiritual causes and suggested engaging in prayers together in a state of nudity.

Following the woman's decision to cease attending the church, Prophet Ensonyameye persisted in reaching out to her for prayer sessions. To bring to light the nature of these interactions, the woman gathered her family during these calls, ensuring that her husband and others could bear witness to the conversations. Subsequently, the family opted to allow the pastor to visit the woman at her residence, where they discreetly monitored his actions.

During the visit, it is reported that the pastor urged the married woman to disrobe for their prayer session. In a courageous turn of events, she managed to buy time by instructing him to proceed while she attended to an errand in another room. Seizing this opportune moment, the family intervened and administered a forceful reprimand to the pastor. The aftermath of this altercation resulted in the pastor requiring medical attention and subsequently being admitted to the Winneba Trauma and Specialised Hospital for treatment.

This distressing incident has undoubtedly sent shockwaves through the community and has prompted fervent discussions regarding the conduct of spiritual leaders and the boundaries of pastoral counseling. It is imperative for all individuals within positions of trust and authority to uphold the utmost standards of professionalism and ethical behavior, especially when dealing with sensitive matters such as marital discord.

As the details continue to unfold, it is hoped that all parties involved will find a resolution that prioritizes healing and restoration. Our thoughts are with those affected by this unfortunate event, and we trust that justice will prevail through due process.
