In the recent development of the alleged Kasoa ritual murder case, the 18-year-old teenager involved has refuted the assertions made by State Prosecutors. It has been denied that he planned with the 15-year-old juvenile to seek spiritual powers in order to acquire wealth.

Furthermore, the 2nd accused has also denied claims that he had discussed a trip to the Volta Region for spiritual help with the 1st Accused, should their initial attempt at Amasaman fail.

Both teenagers have been charged with conspiracy and the murder of 10-year-old Ishmael Mensah Abdallah. The case is being heard before the High Court in Accra, presided over by Justice Lydia Osei Marfo.

While the 15-year-old juvenile (1st Accused) has admitted to the offense and stated that they "committed the crime together," the 18-year-old offender (2nd Accused) has denied the charges.

EIB Network's Legal Affairs Correspondent, Murtala Inusah, has reported that State Prosecutors, led by Nana Adoma Osei, are currently subjecting the 2nd accused to cross-examination in order to test the veracity of his evidence before the High Court presided over by Justice Lydia Osei Marfo.

The developments in this case continue to unfold, and the legal proceedings are being closely monitored. As more information becomes available, we will provide updates on this tragic and concerning situation.
