Police arrest suspected murderer of Professor Adu-Boahen’s son

We have received recent news regarding the arrest of a suspected murderer in connection with the death of Dr. Christopher Adu Boahen, the son of the late Professor Adu Boahen, a prominent figure in the New Patriotic Party.



According to a press release issued by the Police Service and signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Director of Public Affairs, the suspect has been identified as Mark Forson. The body of Dr. Christopher Adu Boahen was discovered in his room on March 17, 2024, prompting a complaint from the deceased's relatives regarding the suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.


In response to the complaint, a team of Police investigators and crime scene experts promptly visited the scene to initiate an investigation, which ultimately led to the apprehension of the suspect. Mark Forson is currently in custody and will be brought before the court as the investigation progresses.
