We are saddened to announce the one-week observance for Inspector Theresa Zampiaw, a dedicated member of the Ghana Police Service. Inspector Zampiaw tragically lost her life in a devastating accident at Kyekyewere on March 27, 2024, along with her colleagues Chief Inspector Michael Adzaho and General Corporal Emmanuel Asamoah.
The one-week observance ceremony has been scheduled to take place on April 6, 2024, at Marina Park, Ashaley Botwe in Accra. The event will commence at 6 am and conclude at 6 pm, providing an opportunity for friends, family, and colleagues to pay their respects and honor the memory of Inspector Zampiaw.
At 47 years old, Inspector Theresa Zampiaw had dedicated her career to serving with the Formed Police Unit (FPU) of the Ghana Police Service. Alongside her fellow officers, she was en route to fulfill her duties when the tragic accident occurred. We also extend our thoughts and prayers to General Corporal Samuel Jude Koufie, who sustained injuries in the same incident and is currently undergoing medical treatment.
This one-week observance serves as a time for reflection, remembrance, and support for those affected by this profound loss. Inspector Zampiaw's contributions to law enforcement and her commitment to serving the community will always be remembered and cherished.
We encourage all who knew Inspector Theresa Zampiaw to join us in honoring her life and legacy at the upcoming ceremony. Let us come together to celebrate her impact and offer comfort to one another during this difficult time.
