According to preliminary reports, Mr. Asomani tragically fell from the second floor of an off-campus hostel located in Ayeduase during the early hours of Sunday, February 8, 2026.
Following the incident, his colleagues, with assistance from the KNUST District Police Patrol Team, rushed him to the KNUST Hospital. However, despite their efforts, Mr. Asomani was pronounced dead on arrival. The university has since informed his family of the tragic loss, and his body has been placed in the hospital mortuary awaiting an autopsy.
