We are pleased to announce that political activist Kwame Asare-Obeng (A-Plus) has been released by the Ghana Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection to his comments regarding individuals involved in the death of Ahmed Suale.
A-Plus has been requested to return to the police headquarters for further questioning on Wednesday, July 18, 2024.
The Ghana Police Service had invited A-Plus to assist in the ongoing investigation into the death of Ahmed Suale following his claims on social media that he has information regarding the case.
The Police explained that the Cold Case Unit, established in October 2021 under the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service, has been diligently working on the investigation and closely engaging with the deceased’s family. The Police expressed their satisfaction that Mr. Kwame Asare Obeng (A-Plus) has indicated that he has information that could assist the ongoing investigation, and he has been invited accordingly.
