The case of Daniel Aseidu, also known as Sexy Don Don, accused of killing Member of Parliament J.B. Danquah Adu, has taken an interesting turn as he denies ever entering the lawmaker’s house to commit the crime. Aseidu vehemently rejected claims by the Police that his footprints and fingerprints were found in the MP's house, raising questions about the evidence presented against him.

In a dramatic testimony before an Accra High Court, Aseidu maintained his innocence, stating, "I don’t know anything about the MP’s death. I am innocent." He went on to suggest that it was "people in authority" who orchestrated a scheme to frame him for the murder of the MP.

Aseidu's defense also challenged the police's claims, denying any knowledge of the deceased MP until his picture was shown to him by the authorities. He alleged that he was beaten and escorted to the MP's house, further complicating the narrative presented by the prosecution.

Furthermore, Aseidu questioned the absence of key witnesses, including the alleged wife to whom he supposedly handed over a stained knife. He expressed bewilderment as to why the police failed to call her to testify, adding that he only got to know her after she had returned from "prostitution business."

The accused also raised concerns about the police's failure to call alleged three police officers who were seen in the lawmaker’s house and the deceased’s wife, mother, and children to testify. These points serve to cast doubt on the prosecution's case and raise important questions about the handling of the investigation.

Aseidu's testimony also included a striking revelation about his name "Sexy Don Don," claiming that it was bestowed upon him by none other than the Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare. This detail adds an intriguing layer to the narrative and raises questions about Aseidu's interactions with law enforcement.

As the case unfolds, Aseidu is set to be cross-examined by Principal State Attorney Sefakor Batsa, providing an opportunity for further exploration of the evidence and testimonies presented.

The gravity of the accusations against Aseidu cannot be understated, as he stands trial on the charge of murder. The unfolding developments in this case underscore the complexities and intricacies of the legal process, shedding light on the challenges of seeking justice in cases of such nature.

As the proceedings continue, it remains to be seen how Aseidu's defense will fare under scrutiny and how the prosecution will address the issues raised in his testimony. The pursuit of truth and justice in this case is paramount, and it is essential that all aspects of the case are thoroughly examined to ensure a fair and just outcome.
