Police on manhunt to recapture robbery suspect

We have recently received news regarding the launch of a manhunt by the Ghana Police Service to recapture Bright Tetteh, also known as Kofi Y2K, a suspect involved in a robbery at Sefwi Abrokefe in the Western North Region.



Bright Tetteh, in collaboration with his accomplice Yaw Tawiah, also known as Jah Boy, was apprehended on September 23, 2024, with the assistance of community members after perpetrating a robbery where they stole valuables such as gold concentrate and assorted mobile phones from their victims.


Regrettably, Bright Tetteh managed to evade police custody, thus prompting the ongoing search for his recapture.


In the meantime, Yaw Tawiah remains in custody and is cooperating with the authorities in their investigation of the aforementioned robbery.


The Ghana Police Service is committed to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens and will continue to exert every effort to bring the perpetrators of such crimes to justice. We urge anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Bright Tetteh to come forward and assist the police in their efforts to apprehend him.
