In a heartbreaking incident that has left the Dormabin community in shock, an armed robbery at a filling station in the Krachi East Municipality of the Oti Region has resulted in the tragic loss of one life. The incident occurred when armed robbers stormed the station, firing shots and making away with GH¢9,000.
The victim, identified as Isaac Dampoki, had reportedly visited the filling station to purchase fuel when the armed assailants launched their attack. According to reports, the robbers began shooting indiscriminately, striking Mr. Dampoki in the process.

Mr. Israel Asiedu, a resident of Dormabin, shared that the victim was immediately rushed to a local CHPS compound for medical attention due to the severity of his injuries. However, given the critical nature of his condition, he was referred to WoraWora Government Hospital for advanced treatment.
Tragically, Mr. Dampoki succumbed to his injuries while en route to the hospital. He was pronounced dead at Asukawkaw, leaving his family and the community devastated.
The Dambai Police Command has since intensified security in the area and launched a full-scale investigation into the incident. Authorities are working tirelessly to track down the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
