The recent assurance by the Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Godfred Yeboah Dame, regarding the pursuit of justice for the late investigative journalist, Ahmed Suale, has brought hope for accountability in this high-profile case.

During his address to Parliament, the Attorney General emphasized that every effort is being made to ensure that the perpetrators of Ahmed Suale's murder are apprehended and brought to justice. He provided updates on the ongoing investigations, including the involvement of external entities such as the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and the Department of Geomatic Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.

While acknowledging the length of time taken for the investigations, the Attorney General reassured the public and the family of Ahmed Suale that justice will indeed prevail, drawing a parallel with the recent resolution of the Tupac Shakur murder case in the United States.

In response to speculations about the motive for Ahmed Suale's murder, the Attorney General cautioned against premature assumptions, highlighting the need for thorough investigation to establish motives. He urged against undermining the integrity of the police investigations and advised against prejudicing the public with unfounded speculations.

Furthermore, he referenced another high-profile case, that of Fennec Okyere, to illustrate the complexity of establishing motives for such crimes. This serves as a reminder to exercise caution in drawing conclusions about the motive behind Ahmed Suale's tragic death.

The Attorney General's comprehensive update to Parliament underscores the government's unwavering commitment to ensuring justice for victims of high-profile murders, including Ahmed Suale, Fennec Okyere, JB Danquah, Shadrack Arloo, Major Maxwell Mahama, and Prof. Benneh.

As we await further developments in these cases, it is imperative to allow the investigative process to unfold without undue speculation or prejudice. The pursuit of justice requires patience and trust in the thoroughness of the ongoing investigations.

The Attorney General's address serves as a reminder that justice may take time, but it will ultimately prevail. Our thoughts remain with the families of the victims as we collectively await the resolution of these cases.
