Ghana Police Praise Peaceful Political Rallies Ahead of Elections

The Ghana Police Service has commended the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and their supporters for their exemplary cooperation during the final political rallies held in Accra on December 5th, 2024.  The statement, released by the Police Service, highlighted the peaceful nature of the events as a testament to the commitment of all stakeholders to upholding Ghana's democratic principles.

 


Beyond the political parties, the Police expressed gratitude to the general public, especially motorists, for their patience and understanding during necessary road closures and diversions implemented for traffic management.  The cooperation shown significantly contributed to the smooth running of the rallies.
