These concerns, Agyei emphasized, warrant thorough investigation by the police.
Agyei further stated that they are preparing to submit a petition to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), the Media Commission, and the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to address this matter.
However, it is important to note that the widow of John Kumah has refuted claims of her husband's death being linked to food poisoning. She clarified that her husband had bravely battled a severe illness for over a year. Apostle Lilian Kumah revealed that her late husband had been grappling with a terminal disease since it was diagnosed by his doctors in Germany nearly a year ago, and it was this illness that ultimately led to his passing on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
